The Tavern at King Street Townhouse

I wanted lunch out with a friend and this was just perfect. The lady who served us who was really lovely. It was a lovely quiet setting which gave us opportunity to catch up. Food and drink was lovely and quite reasonably priced.

The food was excellent and the ambience very pleasant. The only thing to note was the waiting time for the food to arrive and the fact that the reservation was lost. However we were sat straight away.

Very nice place and atmosphere for an evening good dining. The location is bit hard to find, we first ended up in the wrong Tavern around the corner. Glad we found the right one!

The quality of the food was great, the staff were fabulous but they don't know how to cook a steak. (Great cut, excellent quality but chef struggled to hit a medium) Tip : Butterfly it if its too thick. Other than that would highly recommend this lovely restaurant

Turned up late and they were kind enough to keep the kitchen open for us, then served a wonderful meal. Service was delightful and a and the cocktails were a great start to the occasion Thanks for a great evening everyone!
